What does Scania ABS fault code 118 mean?
The current in the circuit to the left-hand side of front axle has been above the permitted level.
What causes Scania DTC 118?
Damage to the control valve or its wiring has caused a short-circuit to ground.
How does the system react?
ABS and hill hold function cease to function, if applicable. The warning lamp comes on.
How to fix Scania ABS fault code 118?
- Check the control valve and its cabling.
- The resistance between the circuit pins must be 16 and 32 ohms respectively.
