What does Scania ACC fault code 41005 mean?
The sun sensor signals a fault.
What causes Scania DTC 41005?
- Fault in the cable harness between the control unit and the sun sensor. - Faulty sun sensor.
What are the symptoms?
- The climate system cannot adjust the cab climate according to the intensity of the sun. The actual cab temperature may therefore differ from the set temperature. - Components on the LIN bus are serially connected to the control unit via harness-to-harness connectors. Consequently, a fault in components previously connected to the cable harness can affect the functionality of components subsequently connected.
How to fix Scania ACC fault code 41005?
- Check the cable harness between the control unit and sun sensor.
- If no fault is found, renew the sun sensor.
