What does Scania ACS fault code 576 mean?
Invalid values from the angle sensor.
What causes Scania DTC 576?
- The angle sensor has not been calibrated after fitting or renewal of the control unit. - The calibration values are not within the permitted intervals. - The system has been spare part programmed and therefore has lost the values.
What are the symptoms?
- Operational data relating to the angle sensor is not available. - Articulation damping functionality is limited. Increased risk of significant swinging and snagging in the articulation unit. - End position protection cannot be overridden using switch.
How to fix Scania ACS fault code 576?
- Turn to the right so that the bus is at an angle.
- Reverse the bus until the End Position Protection Active warning is displayed in the instrument cluster.
- Drive forward so that the bus is straight again.
- Turn to the left so that the bus is at an angle.
- Reverse the bus until the End Position Protection Active warning is displayed in the instrument cluster.
