- Fault in the ACSX control unit connection to the sub data bus. - Fault in the articulation control system sub data bus. - Wake-up signal to the ACSX control unit is short-circuited to voltage supply.

What are the symptoms?

Articulation damping functionality is limited.

How to fix Scania ACSX fault code 522?

  1. Check the ACSX control unit connection to the sub data bus.
  2. Check the articulation control system sub data bus:
  3. Disconnect the battery and measure the resistance between CAN high and CAN low on the ACSX control unit.
  4. Resistance should be close to 60 ohm.
  5. Disconnect the battery and measure the resistance between CAN high on the ACSX control unit and CAN high on the ACS control unit.
  6. Resistance should be close to 0 ohm.
  7. Disconnect the battery and measure the resistance between CAN low on the ACSX control unit and CAN low on the ACS control unit.
  8. Resistance should be close to 0 ohm.
  9. Check the wake-up signal to the ACSX control unit (15 voltage).
