What causes Scania DTC 4357?

- Blocked prefilter, reductant doser V231. - Reductant doser V231 overdoses. - Elasticity in the reductant circuit is too low.

How to fix Scania AMS fault code 4357?

  1. Renew prefilter in reductant doser V231.
  2. Check that all hoses are Scania original.
  3. Check that the elastic membrane in the reductant pump filter housing is intact.
  4. Verification Run Metering test > V231 > Low metering followed by Metering test > V117 > Low metering to deactivate the fault code.
