What does Scania APS fault code 356 mean?

Short circuit to earth.

What causes Scania DTC 356?

Internal fault in the control unit.

How does the system react?

Pressure regulation and regeneration cease. The pressure sensors are still active. The system attempts to start every ten seconds. Yellow warning lamp comes on.

How to fix Scania APS fault code 356?

  1. Check the solenoid valve and its connection to the control unit.
  2. Check the control unit.
  3. Clear the fault code and check that it is not regenerated.
  4. Renew the solenoid valve or control unit if necessary.
