What does Scania ATA fault code 117 mean?
Too many occurrences of overheating. The auxiliary heater control unit is locked.
What causes Scania DTC 117?
The hardware value for the overheat sensor has been exceeded because the control unit has not detected fault codes 112 and 113.
How does the system react?
The control unit is locked. The fault code must be erased in order to unlock the control unit.
How to fix Scania ATA fault code 117?
- Erase the fault code to unlock the control unit and test run the auxiliary heater.
- If necessary, renew the control unit.
