What does Scania AWD fault code 11070 mean?
One of the CAN messages expected from the tachograph disappears or is missing.
What causes Scania DTC 11070?
Open circuit on CAN connection to AWD or tachograph.
What are the symptoms?
If there is also a time-out from the brake system, it is possible to change gear in the transfer gearbox even though the vehicle is not stationary/almost stationary. The driver must release the accelerator pedal to activate the differential lock in the transfer gearbox.
How to fix Scania AWD fault code 11070?
- Check CAN connections, connectors and cable harnesses.
- Also check the tachograph.
