What does Scania AWD fault code 14020 mean?
The position sensor changes the status from active to passive even though the solenoid valve is still activated.
What causes Scania DTC 14020?
This fault code is activated if the compressed air supply to the control cylinder is lost or if there is excessive play in a cable harness or sensor.
How does the system react?
The driver is given an indication that the differential lock has been disengaged. The system attempts to engage the differential lock.
How to fix Scania AWD fault code 14020?
- Check the sensor, solenoid valve, compressed air cylinder, connectors and cable harness.
- Also check that there is sufficient air pressure.
