What does Scania CCU fault code 40968 mean?
The control unit interprets the value from the mixed air temperature sensor as implausible.
What causes Scania DTC 40968?
- Open circuit or short circuit in the cable harness to the mixed air temperature sensor. - Fault in the mixed air temperature sensor.
How does the system react?
If both mixed air temperature sensors have a fault, the climate system enters a degraded mode. Only manual control of cab climate is then possible.
What are the symptoms?
The control unit cannot regulate the cab temperature properly. The actual cab temperature may therefore differ from the set temperature.
How to fix Scania CCU fault code 40968?
- Check the cable harness to the mixed air temperature sensor.
- If the cause is a short circuit in the cable harness, it may also have caused a fault in the mixed air temperature sensor.
- Check the mixed air temperature sensor.
