The signal from the instrument panel switch for inhibiting automatic front kneeling is implausible. The signal has been active for more than 180 seconds.
What causes Scania DTC 638?
The fault may be due to: - The switch is stuck. - The switch or switch module is defective. - The switch module has sent corrupted information about switch status.
How does the system react?
The switch signal is ignored as long as the fault is active.
