Scania fault code 3158

Code 3158 is used by 2 different Scania systems. Choose the control unit shown in your diagnostic tool:

EMU Contactor unit R126, pre-charge resistor contactor, short circuit to supply voltage The control unit indicates too high a voltage for the pre-charge resistor output signal. Read explanation → BMU Battery Management Unit Pre-charge contactor, short circuit to 24 V or open circuit The control unit has interpreted that there is a short circuit to 24 volt voltage or an open circuit on the control signals to the contactor.
