What does Scania COO fault code 16385 mean?
The output signals from the two blocking switches which prevent remote panel activation have been implausible in relation to each other. One signal has indicated a deactivated remote panel and the other an activated remote panel.
What causes Scania DTC 16385?
Only one of coordinator pins 52 and 53 have been grounded. Both must be grounded at the same time. If the fault occurs when the remote panel is deactivated, this indicates an open circuit in one of the blocking switch circuits. If the fault occurs when the remote panel is activated, this indicates a short circuit to ground in one of the blocking switch circuits.
How does the system react?
If the fault occurs when the remote panel is deactivated, it remains deactivated as long as the fault is active. If it occurs when the remote panel is activated, it cannot be deactivated as long as the fault is active.
How to fix Scania COO fault code 16385?
- Check the blocking switches including wiring and harness-to-harness connectors.
- Check the measurement at coordinator pins 52 and 53.
