What does Scania COO fault code 42 mean?
The brake pressure sensor that monitors the front brake circuit has given a voltage value that is above or below the permitted level.
What causes Scania DTC 42?
Short circuit or open circuit in the brake pressure sensor for the front brake circuit. There may also be a fault in the sensor itself.
How does the system react?
This is the part of the control unit that is responsible for its functions. This is where fault codes are read and checks and adjustments are made.
How to fix Scania COO fault code 42?
- Check the brake pressure sensor including wiring and harness-to-harness connectors.
- Note that the sensor is built into a unit that also contains two other brake pressure sensors.
