The upper limit value for the rain and light sensor operating voltage has been exceeded.
What causes Scania DTC 609?
The rain and light sensor operating voltage has exceeded 17.5 V for 10 seconds. If the time exceeds 60 seconds the same fault code is generated again.

The following functions will have impaired functionality: - Automatic windscreen wiping - Automatic dipped beam

Check the supply voltage to the rain and light sensor.

Possible cause
The rain and light sensor operating voltage has exceeded 17.5 V for 10 seconds. If the time exceeds 60 seconds the same fault code is generated again.
