What does Scania CUV fault code 61 mean?
Open circuit or too low current consumption in circuit. The fault code can also be set when there is too high current consumption in the circuit, caused by short circuiting.
What causes Scania DTC 61?
The cause can be a defective lamp, incorrect type of lamp or open circuit in the wiring.
How does the system react?
Left direction indicator is inoperative. The control unit constantly monitors the current consumption on the output when the output is active. If the current consumption is too low, a fault code is registered. The fault code is only found on control unit versions with assembly part number 1482564, 1540437, 1527199 and 1729485.
How to fix Scania CUV fault code 61?
Check the lamp and its switch and possible open circuit in the wiring.
