What does Scania DAS fault code 1000 mean?
Expected CAN-message from tachograph missing.
What causes Scania DTC 1000?
The fault can be caused by one of the following - The tachograph does not send or COO is inoperative. - CAN communication interrupted. - Short circuit between CAN High and CAN Low. - CAN High short circuit to positive or ground. - CAN Low short circuit to positive.
How does the system react?
System is inoperative when the fault code is active. A warning will be displayed in the instrument cluster when the fault code is active and adaptive cruise control is selected.
How to fix Scania DAS fault code 1000?
- Check wiring for short circuits and open circuits.
- Check the CAN bus, see Communication problems under Help.
- Check whether other control units have lost contact with the tachograph.
