What does Scania DDU fault code 4150 mean?
The DDU control unit has interpreted a break in the circuit for the red warning light-emitting diode in the interactive driver display.
What causes Scania DTC 4150?
- The red light-emitting diode is not connected. - Fault in the DDU control unit cable harness or harness-to-component connector.
How does the system react?
- The instrument panel lighting output will turn off and will not turn on until the DDU control unit is restarted. - Yellow warning light-emitting diode is activated.
What are the symptoms?
In the event of a fault or when checking the light-emitting diode, the warning indicator is not activated until the starter key is turned on and off.
How to fix Scania DDU fault code 4150?
- Activate the output for the red warning light-emitting diode with the diagnostic tool.
- The driver display does not need to be started.
- The driver display is not affected by this fault.
- Check cable harness and harness-to-component connector to DDU control unit.
- Check the red light-emitting diode in the driver display.
