An internal test in the control unit has failed.
What causes Scania DTC 773632?
Internal fault in the control unit.
How does the system react?
- Yellow warning indication of an electrically assisted steering fault is displayed. - The control unit reports a fault via CAN. - The electric motor for electrically assisted steering is switched off. - The electronic end position is deactivated. - Fault code 0C6000 is activated at active 15 voltage.
What are the symptoms?
The steering feels sluggish due to degraded functions for steering assistance.
How to fix Scania EAS fault code 773632?
- Renew the control unit including the electric motor.
Variant 2: Start-up check on hardware ASIC failed

Detection
Internal ECU error. The DTC will set during the following condition: 1.System state: PreDrive. 2.System voltage is above 6v. 3.System voltage is below 42v.
Possible cause
Defective powerpack.
System reaction
Set the Yellow Lamp to "On". Set the signal EASState to ERROR. Set the EPS motor torque to 0 Nm. Electronic steering system is inactive. The software endstops are deactivated. DTC, KFC_ERROR_MODE_ACTIVE is set ACTIVE in the same Klemme-15 cycle. ActualSteeringMode signal stay in ASM mode. Steering gear operational mode is in Disable Steering gear degradation reason is in Internal Fault Note:ASM functionality deactivate
