How to fix Scania EAS fault code 781320?

  1. Switch off the electric power supply to the battery with the battery master switch.
  2. Wait 10 seconds.
  3. Switch on the battery master switch.
  4. Check the fault codes in the DAS control unit.

Detection

Signal, EASSteerWheelVibrPattern has a value between the range, [0xA, 0xE]. The DTC will set during the following condition: 1.system state: NMWait, PreDrive, DriveDown, DriveUp, PostRun, Off, Error, Flash, LowVolt. 2.system voltage is above 16v. 3.system voltage is below 32v.

Possible cause

The received signal value is in one of the below mentioned value ranges: 0xA-->0xD - Undefined 0xE - Reserved

System reaction

No applicable system reactions/possible effects. DTC not affected ASM functionality, ASM functionality active.

  1. Step-1: Perform a Klemme-30 reset (Power Reset).
  2. Step-2: If the SPN is still active, check the sending ECU(s).
