What does Scania EBS fault code 3320 mean?
Impermissible or missing response from the second trailer's control unit.
What causes Scania DTC 3320?
There may be an open circuit or poor contact in the cable harness for CAN to the affected control unit. There may be an internal fault or a loss of power supply in the control unit concerned. Electromagnetic interference may also be a cause.
How does the system react?
The yellow warning lamp comes on.
How to fix Scania EBS fault code 3320?
- Check whether several fault codes affecting the red CAN bus have been registered.
- If only the affected control unit does not respond, the CAN bus is OK.
- Check the affected control unit.
- If the control unit is connected to a different CAN bus than EBS, this can indicate that this part of the CAN cable harness is faulty.
- Also check the coordinator's fault codes.
- Electromagnetic interference can, for example, occur due to an incorrectly connected mobile phone.
