Short interruption in the signal from the fuel pressure sensor. This may be due to a poor electrical connection with the sensor.

How to fix Scania EMD fault code 404?

  1. Run Safety precautions for the fuel system.
  2. Check the circuit components, harness-to-component connectors and cable harness.
  3. Verification Leave the engine idling for up to 30 seconds
  4. Check that the fault code has become inactive
  5. Clear the fault code
