Scania EMO DTC 4111 NOx sensor T115 downstream of the SCR catalytic converter measures too low a value.

How to fix Scania EMO fault code 4111?

1. Applies only to vehicles with Euro 4 or Euro 5: Renew NOx sensor T115.
2. The fault code will become inactive after the NOx sensor start-up phase.
3. On vehicles with SCR system: Run Function test of exhaust gas aftertreatment SCR, select section Checking the NOx sensors.
4. Proceed as follows to extinguish the emissions warning lamp.
5. Turn the starter key to the locking position.
6. Wait until the button for the hazard warning signal has been extinguished.
7. Turn the starter key to the drive position.
8. Check that the fault code has been deactivated.
9. Turn the starter key to the drive position and then back to the locking position 3 times.
10. Wait until the button for the hazard warning signal has extinguished between each turn.
11. The emissions warning lamp should then be extinguished.
12. Clear the fault code.
13. Applies only to vehicles with Euro 6 and Scania Engines with variable geometry turbocharger and EGR: Renew NOx sensor T115.
14. The fault code will become inactive after the NOx sensor start-up phase.
15. Run Function test of exhaust gas aftertreatment SCR, select section Checking the NOx sensors.
16. Clear the fault code.
17. Applies only to Scania Engines without variable geometry turbocharger and EGR and 16-litre engines without exhaust brake: Renew NOx sensor T115.
18. The fault code will become inactive after the NOx sensor start-up phase.
19. Start the engine and run the engine under load.
20. Check the amount of dosed reductant via Reductant doser V117.
21. When the amount is larger than 0: check via NOx sensor downstream of the catalytic converter T115 that the NOx sensor starts within 15 minutes.
22. Clear the fault code.
