What does Scania EMO fault code 73 mean?
ECU indicates that temperature in the aftertreatment system is too high.

Fire in aftertreatment system or engine side caused by oil/fuel leakage or extra HC accumulation in the aftertreatment system.
How does the system react?
Torque reduction and engine stop after specified time with red warning lamp.
What are the symptoms?
Engine stop after specified time.
How to fix Scania EMO fault code 73?
- Check if there is any oil leakage in the aftertreatmet system or any broken injector.
- Check the turbo for possible damages
