What does Scania EMS fault code 444 mean?
The voltage in the circuit has been above the permitted level.
What causes Scania DTC 444?
- Open circuit in oil temperature sensor circuit. - Fault in the oil pressure sensor circuit or coolant level sensor circuit
How does the system react?
If the voltage is outside the permitted range, the control unit uses a pre-programmed value. There is a common voltage supply for the oil temperature sensor, oil pressure sensor and coolant level sensor. If a fault occurs in one of the sensors, the other sensor circuits may be affected.
How to fix Scania EMS fault code 444?
- Check that the oil temperature and coolant temperature are at approximately the same level when the engine is cold.
- Check the oil temperature sensor, oil pressure sensor and coolant level sensor, along with the harness-to-harness connectors and electrical cables in the circuits.
