Detection
The message on the NOx sensor software version is not received or does not correspond to a valid NOx sensor.
Possible cause
- Incorrectly fitted NOx sensor. - Fault in the NOx sensor or incorrect version of the NOx sensor. - If the EMS control unit has been changed or updated, it may be due to compatibility problems with the EEC control unit.
System reaction
- Produces a yellow warning lamp. - Can provide speed limitation and torque reduction. - May result in increased fuel and reductant consumption.
How to fix
- If the EMS control unit has recently been changed or updated, ensure that the EEC control unit is also updated with compatible software.
- Check that the NOx sensor is fitted correctly and has the right-hand software version.
- Change the NOx sensor.
