Verification between engine control unit and coordinator has not been successful.

What causes Scania DTC 65522?

Verification may have been carried out with the incorrect key or the engine control unit is not locked to the coordinator.

How does the system react?

The engine cannot be started when the fault code is active. The starter motor is blocked and the fuel supply is shut off.

How to fix Scania EMS fault code 65522?

  1. Troubleshoot via the coordinator.
  2. The only measure that needs to be taken is to clear the fault code if no fault codes have been generated in the coordinator and the driver does not notice any malfunctions.
  3. After completed troubleshooting, clear the fault code memory in the motor steering unit and check afterwards if the fault code returns.

Verification between engine control unit and coordinator has not been successful.

Possible cause

Verification may have been carried out with the incorrect key or the engine control unit is not locked to the coordinator.

System reaction

The engine cannot be started when the fault code is active. The starter motor is blocked and the fuel supply is shut off. This fault code may also cause fault code 58880 to be generated as a subsequent fault.

How to fix

  1. Troubleshoot via the coordinator.
