The control unit indicates low voltage on the water valve's feedback signal.
What causes Scania DTC 8708?
- Fault in cable harness, connector or actuator. - Fault in control unit E159.
How does the system react?
- The position of the water valve is unknown and cannot be checked. - A yellow warning indication is displayed.
What are the symptoms?
Risk of impaired acclimatization of cab and power electronics.
How to fix Scania EMU fault code 8708?
- Check the cable harnesses and connectors between control unit E159 and the water valve.
- Change the water valve.
- Renew control unit E159.
