What does Scania EPB fault code 1245190 mean?
CAN network is switched off.
What causes Scania DTC 1245190?
- Electromagnetic radiation. - Open circuit in orange CAN network cable. - Fault on other control units connected to orange CAN.
How does the system react?
Only the following functions are available: manual park, manual release, secondary brake EPB only. Additionally the ECU can't estimate the motion state and driver can park manually even if the speed is 90km/h. Yellow warning lamp.
What are the symptoms?
- Only emergency braking and manual application and release of the parking brake is possible. - The control unit cannot calculate the speed, making it possible for the parking brake to be applied manually regardless of the vehicle speed.
How to fix Scania EPB fault code 1245190?
- Check the cable harness for the orange CAN network.
- Check external control units connected to the orange CAN network.
