The fault affects engine performance. It is difficult to start the engine. Engine emissions are affected.
How does the system react?
When the alarm is activated and power is supplied by the siren's back-up battery, the siren detects the current flow to the alarm. If the current flow is above 100 mA, the siren sends the information to the control unit and the alarm is triggered.
