What does Scania MBS fault code 566 mean?
There is no CAN communication with expansion unit M or it is disconnected.
What causes Scania DTC 566?
- Voltage supply missing to the expansion unit. - The expansion unit is not connected to the purple CAN bus. - Fault in expansion unit. - The expansion unit has been incorrectly installed during production.
How does the system react?
- A yellow warning indication is displayed. - Functions in the MBS control unit that depend on information from the expansion unit may have degraded. - The expansion unit light-emitting diodes indicate current status. Expansion unit light-emitting diode Indication No light-emitting diodes light up or flash Faulty expansion unit Orange light-emitting diode flashes every second The application is running Yellow light-emitting diode is not active No CAN communication Orange light-emitting diode flashes three times The application is not running
