What causes Scania DTC 40970?
- Open circuit or short circuit in the cable harness to the evaporator temperature sensor. - Fault in the evaporator temperature sensor.
What are the symptoms?
The climate system cannot control the cab temperature properly.
How to fix Scania MCC fault code 40970?
- Check the evaporator temperature sensor cable harness.
- If the cause is a short circuit to the voltage supply in the cable harness, it may also have caused an evaporator temperature sensor fault.
- Check the evaporator temperature sensor.
