What causes Scania DTC 2329862?

- Secondary fault due to other faults which activate surge protection. - Short circuit in the cable harness, harness-to-component connector or busbar. - Short circuit in electric machine M33. - Short circuit in the control unit. - Hardware fault in the control unit.

How does the system react?

A yellow warning indication is displayed.

What are the symptoms?

- Electric propulsion is not possible. - May activate other fault codes in systems connected to voltage class B.

How to fix Scania MGU fault code 2329862?

  1. Check other fault codes related to MGU control unit E82 that may be the root cause of the fault code.
  2. Check for a short circuit in the cable harness, harness-to-component connector or busbar.
  3. Check whether there is a short circuit in electric machine M33.
  4. Restart the vehicle in the following sequence:
  5. Turn off the 15 voltage with the starter key.
  6. Wait for at least 20 seconds.
  7. Turn off the 30 voltage with the battery master switch.
  8. Wait for at least 20 seconds.
  9. Turn on the 30 voltage with the battery master switch.
  10. Turn on the 15 voltage with the starter key.
  11. Check for any available software update if the fault code reoccurs.
