What does Scania RTT fault code 1282 mean?
No CAN communication from the vehicle's green CAN bus. The fault code is activated when no CAN data has been received for 30 s and the vehicle speed exceeds 40 km/h.
What causes Scania DTC 1282?
- Fault on CAN bus cable harness, connections or terminals. - Incorrect CAN messages may have been sent from other control units.
How does the system react?
The fleet management system vehicle overview does not show any values but the positioning function is working.
How to fix Scania RTT fault code 1282?
- Check whether other units connected to the same CAN bus receive CAN data.
- Check the continuity in the cable harness with a multimeter.
