What does Scania SC fault code 20486 mean?
The information from the road speed sensor and the secondary road speed sensor from ABS/EBS is contradictory. The tachograph display shows code 80 together with a message for this fault code. The message will be displayed every hour until the fault has been rectified.
What causes Scania DTC 20486?
There is no IMS function or the IMS configuration has not been carried out correctly. Road speed sensor fault.
How does the system react?
The fault is stored in the tachograph memory and on the digital tachograph card.
How to fix Scania SC fault code 20486?
- Check the fault codes in the ABS/EBS system.
- Check the CAN communication with the coordinator.
