What does Scania TMS fault code 11052 mean?
The fault code is generated if the CAN messages for Opticruise are missing at the same time as the battery voltage is too low and the propeller shaft is rotating.
What causes Scania DTC 11052?
Message missing from engine control or driver interface when the control unit's supply voltage is low. The standard timeout fault codes are not generated if the voltage supply is below 16 V. If this fault code is generated, without any additional timeout fault code, this indicates that another control unit has stopped working because the voltage supply is too low.
How does the system react?
For vehicles with Opticruise: The system will not carry out any gear changes when the fault code has been generated.
How to fix Scania TMS fault code 11052?
Check the GMS control unit supply voltage and that the vehicle alternator and battery system are working.
