What does Scania TMS fault code 336 mean?
The clutch actuator does not take its starting position.
What causes Scania DTC 336?
- The clutch actuator cannot mechanically affect the clutch. - Movement of the clutch is too short. - The clutch actuator's internal position sensor is faulty.
How does the system react?
- A yellow warning indication is displayed. - Clutch function is deactivated. - The clutch actuator cannot be activated.
What are the symptoms?
It is not possible to change gears.
How to fix Scania TMS fault code 336?
- Check that the clutch actuator's push rod is mechanically connected to the clutch.
- Check that the release bearing reaches the diaphragm spring.
- Renew the clutch actuator.
