What causes Scania DTC 212?

Poor water circulation or fault in overheat sensor.

How to fix Scania WTA fault code 212?

  1. Check the water circulation.
  2. Check the check valve in the coolant circuit.
  3. Check water hoses and connections.
  4. Check that there is no air in the cooling system.
  5. Check the thermostat.
  6. Check the water valve.
  7. Check the water pump.
  8. Measuring points 3 and 6 in the harness-to-harness connector for the auxiliary heater control unit.
  9. Resistance value: - 4 ohms
  10. Check the overheat sensor.
  11. Measuring points 11 and 17 in the harness-to-harness connector for the auxiliary heater control unit Resistance value: - 150 kohms at 25°C - 10 kohms at +25°C
  12. Check the dosage pump.
  13. Measuring points 1 and 2 on dosage pump V41.
  14. Resistance: - 20 ohms
  15. Check the fuel supply.
