Undefined permanent electrical fault detected on the injector coil(s) or the cabling to the injector(s). The fault is detected only when engine is running.
¿Qué causa el DTC 4458 de Scania?
XPI engine: Cables or injector connected to A1_1:4 and B1_1:4 or A1_6:9 and B1_6:9 malfunction. Gas engine: Open circuit or electrical fault on connected injectors

The system will continuously try to use the injectors regardless of malfunction.
¿Cómo solucionar el código de avería Scania EMO 4458?
- XPI engine: Disconnect connectors on the ECU and cables on the coil to the faulty injector(s).
- Measure the resistance over the coil.
- Measure the resistance between high / low side of the coil respectively and the engine block; there should be infinite resistance.
- Check the cabling attachment to the connector and through the cylinder head.
- Measure resistance between high and low side of cables (coil and ECU disconnected); there should be infinite resistance.
- Measure resistance between high / low side cable and the engine block; there should be infinite resistance.
- Gas engine: Check relay for open circuit Check injectors connected to the bank for electrical faults Check wiring Check fuse After repair, restart engine to remove DTCs
