What does Scania ACS fault code 624 mean?
The BMS control unit does not accept the external brake request.
What causes Scania DTC 624?
- The BMS control unit is incorrectly configured. - The BMS control unit software does not support the external brake request. - Fault in the BMS control unit.
What are the symptoms?
End position protection is still active, but with significantly reduced functionality. This increases the risk of damage to the articulation unit, especially when returning to its mechanical end position.
How to fix Scania ACS fault code 624?
- Check the fault codes in the BMS control unit.
- Spare parts program the BMS control unit.
- Check that the BMS control unit software supports the external brake request.
