What does Scania ALLISON fault code 1811 mean?
The control unit has detected that the sump oil temperature has been lower than or equal to a calibrated value for more than 2.5 seconds.
What causes Scania DTC 1811?
- Damage to the cable harness. - Short circuit of pin 54 to battery. - If the fault codes 2185 or 2743 are both set, there is a very high probability that one of the electrical cables connected to pin 54, 35 or 75 is short circuited to battery. - Open circuit in the cable harness to pin 54 or 58.
How does the system react?
The Allison fault code number is: P0713. The control unit uses default values for temperature. For the fault code to be set, the engine must be running and must have been hotter than 20ºC for 20 seconds if the engine has been running for less than 10 minutes. The fault code is cleared automatically when the vehicle has completed 40 start-up cycles without the fault being detected again.
