What does Scania ALLISON fault code 1810 mean?
The control unit has detected that the sump oil temperature has been higher than a calibrated value for more than 2.5 seconds.
What causes Scania DTC 1810?
- Damage to the cable harness. - Short circuit of pin 54 to earth.
How does the system react?
The Allison fault code number is: P0712. The control unit uses default values for temperature. For the fault code to be set, the engine must be running and must have been hotter than 20ºC for 20 seconds if the engine has been running for less than 10 minutes. The fault code is cleared automatically when the vehicle has completed 40 start-up cycles without the fault being detected again.

- Check that there is no damage or short circuits on the external cable harness.
