How to fix Scania BCI fault code 543?

  1. Perform the following actions:
  2. Run the Edit BIC program wizard to check which expansion units are expected to be present in the vehicle.
  3. Check that the expansion unit ID pins (2, 5, 8 and 11) agree with the expansion units which should be present in the vehicle.
  4. If applicable, add the expansion unit using BICT if it should be present in the vehicle but is missing in the vehicle configuration.
