What does Scania CCU fault code 41006 mean?
The control unit has interpreted that there is a fault in the atmospheric humidity sensor.
What causes Scania DTC 41006?
- Fault in the cable harness between the control unit and atmospheric humidity sensor. - Faulty atmospheric humidity sensor.
What are the symptoms?
- The atmospheric humidity sensor is not working properly. - The humidity in the cab may be higher than normal. The windscreen may mist up without the climate system responding. - The atmospheric humidity sensor is connected to the control unit in series via a harness-to-harness connector. A fault in units previously connected to the cable harness can therefore affect the functionality of subsequently connected units.
How to fix Scania CCU fault code 41006?
- Check the cable harness between the control unit and atmospheric humidity sensor.
- If no fault is found, renew the atmospheric humidity sensor.
