What does Scania CCU fault code 41009 mean?
The control unit has interpreted that there is a fault in the air distribution damper of the defroster.
What causes Scania DTC 41009?
- Fault in the cable harness between the control unit and the actuator for air distribution to the defroster. - Fault in the actuator for air distribution to the defroster.
What are the symptoms?
The actuator cannot adjust the air distribution to the defroster. Components on the LIN bus are connected to the control unit in series via harness-to-harness connectors. A fault in components previously connected to the cable harness can therefore affect the functionality of components connected later.
How to fix Scania CCU fault code 41009?
- Check the cable harness between the control unit and the actuator for air distribution to the defroster.
- If no faults are found, renew the actuator for air distribution to the defroster.
