The voltage in the fuel level sensor circuit has been either above or below the permitted level.

What causes Scania DTC 24?

Short circuit or open circuit. There may also be a fault in the fuel level sensor.

How does the system react?

The fuel gauge will indicate that the tank is empty as long as the fault is active.

How to fix Scania COO fault code 24?

  1. Check the fuel level sensor including wiring and harness-to-harness connectors.
  2. Check also the mechanical function of the sensor.
