What does Scania CUV fault code 102 mean?
The control unit is receiving a signal from S24 that both the left and right direction indicators are to be turned on at the same time.
What causes Scania DTC 102?
Short circuit in the direction indicator and wiper lever (S24 in S141) or in the wiring.
How does the system react?
The direction indicators do not work separately. Direction indicator lamps work, however, if they are activated as hazard warning signals with the hazard warning signal switch (S2).
How to fix Scania CUV fault code 102?
- Check operation and whether there is a short circuit in the direction indicator and wiper lever (S141).
- Also check for shorting in the direction indicator wiring between the lever and control unit.
