What does Scania ICL fault code 102 mean?
Communication between the instrument cluster and the BMS control unit has been interrupted.
What causes Scania DTC 102?
Short circuit or open circuit in the circuit for the red CAN bus. There may also be an internal fault in the BMS control unit.
How does the system react?
If the vehicle is equipped with ABS, the yellow brake warning lamp is lit. If the vehicle is fitted with EBS, the red brake warning lamp lights up, and a warning sound is heard if the engine is running.
How to fix Scania ICL fault code 102?
- Check the red CAN bus wiring and harness-to-harness connectors.
- Also check whether the coordinator has generated any fault codes.
- Also check the instrument cluster configuration.
