What does Scania DDU fault code 2310 mean?
The DDU control unit has interpreted that the backlight of the switches is short-circuited to earth. The fault code is only activated when the light level is above 26%.
What causes Scania DTC 2310?
- The switch backlight cable harness is short-circuited to earth.
How does the system react?
- The instrument panel lighting will switch off and will not switch on until the DDU control unit restarts.
What are the symptoms?
- Backlight for the switches is not working.
How to fix Scania DDU fault code 2310?
- Check cable harness and harness-to-component connector to switch backlight.
