What does Scania DDU fault code 770 mean?
The DDU control unit is not receiving CAN messages from the BMS control system
What causes Scania DTC 770?
- The BMS control unit is not connected to the CAN bus. - Incorrectly set parameters in the DDU control unit.
How does the system react?
Red warning indication is displayed. Red warning indication of a safety-critical brake fault is displayed. For vehicles with EBS system: - A red warning message for a fault in the brake system is displayed. - A yellow warning message for a fault in the ABS system is displayed. For vehicles with the ABS2 system: - A yellow warning message for a fault in the ABS system is displayed.
How to fix Scania DDU fault code 770?
- Check the harness-to-component connector to the BMS control unit.
- Check the cable harness for CAN communication.
- Spare part program the DDU control unit.
